This project, which dates back to 1996, was recognised for its innovation by the French state, as well as the European community.
The idea is to allow the eldest members of the commune to share lifes moments with the youngest.
The school restaurant as well as that for the elderly are under the same roof. The kitchen assures a family atmosphere. Function rooms and social and medical offices are available in the site.
Studio flats on one level are available for the elderly and are specially adapted for the disabled. They each have a shower and a kitchenette and an open garden. Residents bring their own furnishings. Meals are taken in the restaurant. Breakfast is served in each apartment.
Help is always available on site. The team is dedicated to each person's need. The elderly can enjoy, without worries, in a friendly family atmosphere and environment.
In the year 2005, a studio cost just 930 Euros a month, inclusive rent, services, and meals.
